Physical Appearance
Orcborns’ grayish pigmentation, sloping foreheads, jutting jaws, prominent teeth, and towering builds make their orcish heritage plain for all to see. Orcborns stand between 5 and 7 feet tall and usually weigh between 180 and 250 pounds. Orcborns have a skin color ranging from brown, to green, to a dullish gray. Orcs regard battle scars as tokens of pride and ornamental scars as things of beauty. Other scars, though, mark an orc or orcborn as a disgraced combatant or exile. Any orcborn who has lived among or near orcs has scars, whether they are marks of humiliation or of pride, recounting their past exploits and injuries. Such a orcborn living among humans might display these scars proudly or hide them in shame.
General Personality
Orcborns feel emotion powerfully. Rage doesn’t just quicken their pulse, it makes their bodies burn. An insult stings like acid, and sadness saps their strength. But they laugh loudly and heartily, and simple bodily pleasures—feasting, drinking, wrestling, drumming, and wild dancing—fill their hearts with joy. They tend to be short-tempered and sometimes sullen, more inclined to action than contemplation and to fighting than arguing. The most accomplished orcborns are those with enough self-control to get by in a civilized land.
Origin Town:
Gruungrad
Gruungrad was a settlement established by orcs. Humans from the nearby settlement of Crownworth were extracting the natural resources of the region to the detrimental effect of the orcs. In retaliation orcs began to send raiding parties after humans to dissuade them from entering. This erupted into a series of wars and conflicts that lasted centuries. Eventually the humans had cast a huge curse that rendered the orc population infertile. The birth rate suddenly dropped to almost zero. orc druids were eventually able to find a way around the curse. However orc children born after this period had different physical characteristics, and could no longer reproduce with older orc generations. These new orc children were named the orcborn.
Orcborn today enjoy fighting for their honor and glory in the arenas of Gruungrad. They still look to their ancestor orcs for guidance, and keep maintaining the traditions and culture of the orcs.

Voldhor
Not all orcborn are drawn into the glory of battle. Some are really inspired by the fine craftsmanship of dwarven blacksmiths in Gruungrad. These orcborn soon set out to apprentice under dwarven blacksmiths and learn for themselves how to make these amazing weapons. Enough orcborns have been driven enough to go all the way to Voldhor to learn about high level smithing, that a sizable community of orcborn in Voldhor has formed.
