The harsh desert heat can still be felt within the walls of Shurrann. Dragonborn are everywhere in this city, though you can also see kobold slaves performing menial tasks. You can hear the chants of priests at their temple, as they baptize young dragonborn. Occasionally you can hear a triton trader yelling prices of the different goods they just brought in by ship. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Shurrann is a town that represents the pride of the dragonborn race. It is covered in monuments and murals depicting their many legends. The desert that surrounds in the town solidifies the idea of just how strong the dragonborn are. The dragonborn rule over the kobolds there through divine right. Shurrann has always been a dragonborn settlement. With their tough scales dragonborn were able to withstand the intolerable heat of the desert. They discovered a huge river with fertile soil by the shore deep in the western coast of the desert. This valuable resource is what led to the foundation of Shurrann. The dragonborn conquered the nearby kobold tribes and subjugated them into a working class. Magical items and artifacts would be found in the desert, further inflating the dragonborn sense of self worth. The draonborn in Shurrann are proud of their race and heritage. They have always sought to become skilled at anything they set their mind to. After the Genasi and Tieflings joined Shurrann, a caste system was implemented by the Dragonborn. Kobolds made up the lowest caste of unskilled workers, Tieflings comprised a middle class of artisans, Genasi made up a middle class of religious officials, and the Dragonborn was on top of all of them in a position of leadership.<\/p>

An old emperor of Shurrann got their hands on a genie, and was given a whole population of Earth Genasi. These Earth Genasi ended up becoming a huge part of Shurrann. The Dragonborn held a lot of respect for the Genasi\u2019s primal connection, and the Genasi had a lot of respect for the Dragonborn\u2019s history and traditions. Genasi moved into all of the various temples in Shurrann, and started to become the keepers of religious ceremonies.<\/p>

Tieflings are refugees to Avensuna that were brought here by fiendish benefactors, and landed near Shurrann. The tieflings that wanted to continue correspondence with these beings left to establish Mordai, but the ones who wanted to stop joined Shurrann as a caste of artisans. Tieflings are known to bring a unique perspective to things, and coming from another world brought their own unique skills and techniques. The Dragonborn of Shurran appreciated this new influx of skills.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
